Our Vision
We imagine a Rhode Island where all of our neighbors have a home. Our mission is to make abundant housing options available in every city and town, for residents at every stage of life.
The Problem
Rhode Island builds the fewest new homes per capita of any state.
Without enough supply, housing prices keep going up, pushing our friends and family out of their neighborhoods and driving more people into homelessness.
Rhode Island’s outdated laws make it too hard to build all of the homes that our communities need.
What we do
We advocate for policy reforms that allow Rhode Islanders to build more homes.
We recruit, train, and support residents advocating for more homes in their community.
We research strategies to achieve a robust and sustainable housing market that improves Rhode Islanders’ quality of life.
